TrackTik Named one of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Technology Companies in the 2018 Deloitte Technology Fast 50™ Awards

Company’s rapid growth fuels expansion in Canada, the U.S. and Europe, leads to disruptive products and services for the global security workforce sector

Montreal, November 15th, 2018 — Montreal tech startup TrackTik Inc., developer of a first-of-its-kind security workforce management software, has earned the Deloitte Technology Fast 50™ program award for its rapid revenue growth, entrepreneurial spirit and bold innovation. The company landed 11th on the prestigious ranking of Canada’s fastest-growing technology, media and telecommunications organizations.

The award recognizes TrackTik’s 1,725 percent revenue growth from 2014 to 2017, which is characterized by the company’s rapid expansion in international markets, the launch of a new European headquarters in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and the development of new technology that aims to disrupt the global security services market.

“We are delivering game-changing technology that is reimagining every role in the security workforce management process,” said TrackTik Founder and CEO Simon Ferragne, the visionary behind the company’s technology who credits its rapid success to filling a much-needed gap in the marketplace.

“Business is changing rapidly, and what used to work a few years ago isn’t a recipe for what will work in the future,” said Erica Pretorius, Partner and National Leader for the Technology Fast 50 program at Deloitte Canada. “Fast 50 winners are a beacon of innovation and I’m looking forward to how they will change the business and technology landscape in the future.”

In addition to securing major new global clients, TrackTik doubled the size of its Montreal headquarters last year, growing from 60 to 120 employees. The company also continues to invest heavily in R&D, bringing to market state-of-the-art security products.

TrackTik’s Fast 50 award comes on the heels of two other notable achievements in 2018 – being named to the LinkedIn list of Top 25 Startups in Canada and placing 36th on the Canadian Business 2018 Startup 50 ranking of Canada’s Top New Growth Companies.

The Technology Fast 50 program, now in its 21st year, celebrates public and private companies that have transformed their respective industries. To be eligible for a ranking, award winners must be headquartered in Canada, own proprietary technology, conduct research and development activities in Canada and invest a minimum of five percent of gross revenues in R&D. They must also be in operation for at least four years and report revenues of at least $5 million.
